Roundtable Films has recently completed full post production on BBC Natural World’s production of Sudan: The Last of the White Rhinos for transmission on BBC 2 in the UK as well as international sales via BBC Worldwide.
Directed by Rowan Deacon and edited by James Gold, Roundtable Films provided offline edit dry-hire, conform, colour grading, tracklay, voice-over, sound mix as well as the online edit and deliverables.
The deliverables were all ran through Roundtable Films’ Interra Baton automated QC solution to validate the deliverables against a variety of delivery specifications for broadcast and distribution as well providing PSE (photo-sensitive epilepsy) pass reports.
For international delivery the film passed through Roundtable Films’ new SAM Alchemist XF standards conversion system to create 59.94i masters from the 25p shot and posted master. All framerate conversions are ran using the Ph.C algorithm in high-effort mode to produce only the highest quality conversions.
